“Also, from today on I am He alone,
and no one can take anything from my hand.
I act, and who can reverse it?”
~Isaiah 43:13

Picture a grown man that is strong and over six feet tall. He is holding something in his hand. His hand is held high up over his head and his grip is tight. A young child is jumping up trying to grab the item in his father’s hand, to no avail. His dad is just too strong for him. The child cannot take anything from his dad.
This is the picture I get when I read the verse above: No one can take anything from God’s hand, including us. When we believe in God, we are kept in the palm of God’s very hand and nothing and no one can take that security and protection from us.
Some of my favorite verses in the Bible are found in John 10:27-30.
“My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish - ever!
No one will snatch them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all.
No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
The Father and I are one.”
Rest in this, you are secure in Christ for Eternity. No one and nothing can ever take you from Christ.
